Air : The nearest airport is at Karipur, Kozhikode, about 93 km south.

Elimala

Elimala is situated at a height of 885 feet with an isolated cluster of hills. There is a cave at the foot hill and on the top of the hill there is an ancient mosque with sculptured stone pillars. Its surroundings ars also known for rare medicinal herbs used for Ayurvedic formulation.

Mahe

It is a small territory coming under the Union Territory Of Pondicherry. This small beautiful town was established by French in 17th century.

Moppila Bay

It is a natural fishing harbor lying near to St. Angelos Fort. The rough sea and the inland waters are separated by the wall projecting from the fort.

Paithalmala

Paithalmala is about 1372 metres above sea level. It is on the Kerala-Karnataka border and about 65 kms north-east of Kannur city.

Snake Park at Pappinisserry

This is a beautiful snake park. Here you can see different varieties of snakes.

St.Angelos Fort

The St. Angelos Fort was built by the first Portuguese viceroy in 1505. This fort is the land mark of kannur.

Talipparamba

It is known for its famous Vishnu temple. This 10th century temple has beautiful wood craft works.

Thalassery

Thalassery was once the center of the British military and built the thalassery Fort in the early 18th century. The church on Nettur hillis worth visiting.

Valapattanam


The boat ride to enjoy this tiny island is one of the greatest attraction. There are 10 tiny island with full of coconut groves.
