The Glass Temple of Kottamunda is dedicated to Parswanatha Swami, the third Thirthankara of the Jain faith. Kalpatta Kalpatta, the district headquarters of wayanad is famous for Ananthanathaswami Jain temple in Puliyarmala near Kalpatta. Kanthanpara waterfalls A beautiful waterfall about 30 mts in height. Lakkidi It is a place of scenic beauty with picturesque hills, streams and vegetation. The Pookote lake, surrounded on all sides by hills is one of the natural fresh water lake in Kerala. Manantavadi It is a important historically place where the Pazhassi Raja and the park in his memory are situated here. Sultan Bathery The place derives its present name from the Tippu Sultan of Mysore who built a fort in 18th century. The famous Pazhassi Raja Fort can be seen at Panamaram, 29km from here.
