Art Museum

The Art Museum which is building in the Zoo compound, has a good collection of woodcarvings, metal sculptures, ancient jewellery and traditional Kerala lamps.

Athirampally Waterfalls

The Athirampally Waterfalls, which falls from a height of nearly 80 feet is located at the entrance to the Sholayar range is a place of great scenic beauty.

Cheruthuruthi

This place is famous for Kerala Kalamandalm, the kathakali training center. The academy was founded by Vallathol Narayana Menon. Training in Kathakali, Mohiniyattom, Ottam Thullal and other art forms of Kerala is imparted here.

Guruvayoor

One of the most sacred pilgrim centers of Kerala, The world famous Shree Krishna Temple is located here.

Peechi Dam

It is an irrigation dam, constructed across the Mandi river which offers boating facility at the reservoir. The beautiful garden make the dam site very attractive and the forest areas around the dam from the Peechi Vazhani Wildlife Sanctuary, in which numerous birds and jungle fowl can be seen.

Vadakkunathan Temple

This temple is a classic example of the Kerala style of architecture with many decorative murals and pieces of art. The Vadakkunathan Temple is one of the oldest temples in the state.

Zoo

Located at the public garden which spread over 13 acres of land has variety of animals and birds. There is also a snake park in this zoo.
