Air : The nearest airport is at Kozhikode.

Rail : Perintalmanna in Kozhikode is the nearest railway station.

Adyanpara

This place is famous for its waterfalls and the splendour of its lush jungles. Adyanpara is Located in the Kurumbalangode village of Nilambur taluk.

Kadalundi

It is the Bird Sanctuary of Malappuram, is spread over a cluster of islands in a scenic area surrounded by hillocks where the Kadalundi River flows into the Arabian Sea. There are over 60 varieties of migratory birds that flock here in large numbers during February-March. The hillock nearby, which is 200 meters above sea level, offers a good view of the river mouth and the sea.

Kottakal

The Kottakal Arya Vaidyasala is pioneering center for Ayurveda, in Kerala system of medicine. It was founded by PS Warier in 1902. This institution runs a Ayurvedic Research Center and a Hospital. It has branches all over the state.

Nilambur

The extensively forested land is well known for Canoli's Plot the world's oldest teak plantation and bamboo woods are seen in this place.

Padinharekara Beach

At the end of the Tipu Sultan Road near Ponnani, the beach offers a breathtaking view of the confluence of the Bharathapuzha, the Tirur Puzha and the Arabian Sea.

Tanur

It was one of the earliest settlements of the Portuguese. It is a small coastal town. St. Francis Xavier visited the place in 1546. The Keraladeshapuram Temple which is 3km from Tanur is said to be one of the oldest temples in Kerala.

Tirur

It is the birth place of Thunchath Ezhuthachan, the father of the Malayalam Literature. It is believed that the sand is sacred in this place.

Vallikunnu Beach

A beach resort set in the middle of a coconut groves is the main attraction here. The Kadalundi bird sanctuary is just a short distance away.
